Main Destinations for Further Study after Graduation from the Department of Architecture and Urban Design

Graduates of the Department of Architecture and Urban Design who go on to graduate studies at the University of Utsunomiya primarily enter the Graduate Program in Architecture and Building Engineering at the Graduate School of Regional Development and Creativity's Division of Social Design. This is because the architecture teaching staff is affiliated with the division, and students choose their division based on the affiliation of their primary supervisor.

There are two selection methods.

• General Selection
• Recommended Special Selection

• Foreign Exchange Student Special Selection
• Third-year Undergraduate Special Selection

Degrees that Can Be Earned in the Graduate School

Those who continue their studies at the graduate school above can earn a Master of Engineering degree. Those who wish to continue further with their research can enter the Doctoral Program of the Graduate School of Regional Development and Creativity, Division of Advanced Transdisciplinary Science to acquire a Doctor of Engineering degree.
